Once a month, Roger Pritchard and his mother, Nola, make a three hour trek to SECU Family House from their home in Newton, North Carolina. For the past several months, Roger has been receiving chemotherapy treatments at UNC Hospitals for multiple myeloma—a cancer of the white blood cells that are responsible for producing antibodies.
